How many CableSpikes do I need?
This will depend on the length and rigidity of the cable to be carried.

How do I establish how many CableSpikes I need?
For example take a power cord plugged into the wall or conditioner and also the Hi-fi kit. With the equipment power off see if the power cable trails on the floor. If it does not then no CableSpike is required. If it does, lift the cable in the middle about 100mm (4"). If all the cable is off the floor only one CableSpike in the middle will suffice. The same applies with speaker cable.

Will it suit my cables?
The CableSpike is designed to carry Circular, Elliptical, Flat and Ribbon cables. The centre has a 20mm ID and the area supports cables up to 75mm wide.

Does the CableSpike dictate the cable route?
The answer is No. CableSpike works symbiotically with the cable it carries to elevate it. You just position the CableSpike at the low points in the run. This way the CableSpike does not exert undue stresses on the cable.

What are the benefits?
It is widely accepted in the Hi-fi world that vibration can effect the systems performance. The CableSpike has minimal contact with the floor or surface. It is also accepted that air is one of the best dialectrics.

What is the CableSpike made from?
5mm Polished Acrylic sheet, laser cut and the support band is a simple rubber/neoprene band. The CableSpike is approx. 100mm high x 90mm wide by 5mm.
